Chef Marta Yanci Unveils Unique Culinary Workshop Restaurant in Dubai

Chef Marta Yanci, owner and founder of Marta's Kitchen, Dubai's boutique catering company opened today her first restaurant called Marta's Workshop, offering quality and uniquely creative food at an affordable price on a lunch-only basis.

Located inside Marta's Kitchen headquarters, in Swiss Tower, inside Cluster Y in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Marta's Workshop pioneers a new concept restaurant in Dubai: a lunch-only buzzing place where hipster food enthusiasts enjoy the latest experiments and signature dishes.

It is a restaurant that embodies the arguments of Chef Marta: that eating sensibilities are changing in Dubai, that a booming town and the maturing of Dubai clients have prompted a desire for more cultivated dining. This does not translate into white tablecloths and fancy decorations but rather a celebration of food with a unique experience in town.

This is why everything that is not centered around the quality of the food has been taken out: one set menu, as the food is freshly prepared each day using the best ingredients. There are no waiters, as Chef Marta and her team serve the guests, giving guests the unique opportunity to interact with the chefs directly.

To ensure that the restaurant would be a success and in order to test and further perfect the concept, Chef Marta invited a group of guests to try the concept and provide feedback. The reviews so far have been very positive:

"Marta has served us today undoubtedly the best food between JLT and Burj Khalifa," said Peter Drescher, Vice President Food and Beverage - Middle East and Asia of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts. "I felt very privileged today to be able to experience a person with a passion taller than Burj Khalifa your spirit was felt in every dish that you have served us today."

Marta's Workshop was also tested by Dubai food authority Sarah Walton (@the_hedonista): "Just had a teaser at @MartasKitchen in JLT. Opens Oct 20. Some of the best food I've had in months and months. And not expensive either."

With Marta's Workshop, the lifelong dream of Chef Marta Yanci of having a natural extension of her kitchen where food enthusiasts can come to enjoy a great meal in a her establishment is now fulfilled.

"I am very excited to launch my first restaurant in Dubai, the city that gave me the opportunity to venture into the culinary world," said Chef Marta Yanci, owner of Marta's Workshop and Marta's Kitchen. "We have worked very hard to become one of the leading catering companies in Dubai," said Marta Yanci. "Throughout the process, many clients asked us when would we open a restaurant, as the food we offered surpassed their expectations. After many months of planning and testing, this is the result of this great feedback."

The Workshop is composed of a kitchen counter, a small indoor diner and a beautiful terrace. The Workshop stands for good service, great hospitality, but in a casual way. Like you're in a kitchen. It offers food enthusiasts in Dubai a new experience: a buzzing place to eat wonderful food, prepared using the latest Michelin-star techniques. It offers guests the chance to be in direct contact with the chefs that make the food, all in a casual environment.
