The second edition of ‘Treat’ – the BurJuman World Food Fest – is back from 14 to 18 May with a tempting selection of events, activities and, of course, plenty of delicious food. Foodies can look forward to an aromatic and appetising mix of masterclasses, demonstrations by celeb chefs, competitions and loads of yummy tasters.
Kicking off the programme is celeb chef Sanjeev Kapoor who will share his culinary secrets and tips – as well as the recipes for his popular Indian dishes. The five-day festival will see foodies able to participate in masterclasses and watch live cooking demos by some of the best chefs in the business from hotels across the city. We can look forward to classes and demos from Dubai Mariott Hotels, Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah, Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Deira Creek and Meliá Dubai. Young gourmands also have a big focus at the event, the ‘Kids’ Corner by Kitsch Cupcakes’ will host cake decorating classes and fun food games as well as cooking competitions.
The food fest will continue with the BurJuman Junior Chef of the Year which is organised by BurJuman in association with The Emirates Culinary Guild from 19 to 25 May and celebrates the best young talent in the UAE.
Congratulation!
